All of our classes are taught in English. Our programs are designed with students in mind, are versatile, and can be tailored to meet their specific needs. We use a combination of classroom theory and hands-on experience learning that integrates both National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) methods and Dorben Polytechnic learning modalities.
The realistic approach taken by the Dorben ODFeL in this programme prepares students for professions in today's fast changing and worldwide business environment.
To be considered competent to write the semester examinations, students must have a minimum participation score of 75% in all courses in which they are enrolled.
After attending available core and specialization courses, students must finish their entire programme with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 in order to graduate. Dorben ODFeL students must also complete an internship program and submit and defend a final research project.
The student learning portal will automatically assess student participation in class discussions, and Dorben ODFeL lecturers will be responsible for keeping track of it. The student's Continuous Assessment will be based on the quality of their responses to discussion questions and their participation in evaluating discussion questions in the same proportion as the related on-campus programme. Assignments and Quizzes will also be used for students grading points
The Dorben ODFeL lecturers will be in charge of the primary scoring of students, while the Academic Advisers/Subject Matter Specialists will be in charge of the assessment.
Academic integrity is a core concept in higher education. Dorben ODFeL has a stringent academic ethics code that all students are required to follow. Plagiarism, attempted theft of academic records or examinations, and grade manipulation are examples of academic dishonesty. Any of these infractions will result in a course failure and/or expulsion from the program.
